. ROUTES AND LIFT
Cable cars are the key to the popularity of any ski resort. The Gazprom Mountain Tourist Center was among the first to offer its guests the European level of skiing in Russia. Designed with the most advanced technology, our cable cars have not only gained fame as an innovative vehicle, but also become a fascinating tourist attraction that allows you to admire the beauty of the mountain ranges from a bird’s eye view.
Today, the ski slopes are served by 14 cable cars of three types: closed gondola type, open chairlifts and ski lifts. Their total length will be about 20 km.
The real pearl and pride of the resort is the 3S cable car – the longest cable car with ring traffic in the world. The record-breaking road moves on three ropes – hence the name 3S. 41 cabins, each of which is designed to carry 30 people, are supported by only five pillars, the height of one of them is 78 meters, which has no analogues in Europe. The design is developed taking into account the most extreme operating conditions.
By the winter season, 23 tracks are available for skiing (15 tracks on the Psekhako plateau and 8 tracks on Pikhtovaya Polyana):
Beginners’ tracks B, C, D, E – 7 tracks (green and blue) are ideal for beginners. Without exaggeration, these are the best tracks for training in Krasnaya Polyana. Most of them are equipped with lighting and are available for guests at night.
Slopes for experienced skiers F – 3 (black) pistes for the most experienced skiers.
Pistes for the whole family G, H, I – 8 pistes (green and blue, red) that are suitable for skiing with the whole family. This is a new area for skiing, the launch of which is planned for the 2014-2015 season. Here are the widest (up to 120 m), as well as the longest (up to 1900 m) trails.
The children’s slope is located next to the Pikhtovy mountain shelter. On the children’s slope, professional instructors will teach skiing and snowboarding, teach your children how to handle snowshoes. Author’s programs for individual and group lessons were developed on the basis of the Austrian methodology. The lessons are structured very conveniently, using diagrams and pictures, so that young skiers can read their curriculum on their own. Poems, game scenarios, bright auxiliary toys will be involved in the lessons so that the students’ love for alpine skiing is preserved for life.
Attention! Admission to the children’s slope is possible only when accompanied by an instructor, which reduces the risk of injury. All instructors underwent special training (safety rules, teaching methods, basics of psychology). The slope fence will help to avoid unpleasant collisions with older guests.
